Privacy Policy for SuperStoics.com

Effective Date: October 2026

1. Introduction

This page describes how the Super Stoics website at SuperStoics.com currently handles information. It is written from the website's implementation. It has not been reviewed by a lawyer, and it is not a statement that the site meets any particular legal standard.

The name of the responsible person or legal entity, and a contact email address for privacy requests, are not recorded in the project configuration. Those details need to be added before this policy can be treated as complete.

2. Information the public site collects

The Register Your Interest form asks for an adult's name and email address, with optional notes. Those details are used to provide Super Stoics availability updates. The form does not ask for a child's name.

Submitting the form is the request for those updates. There is no separate mailing list and no separate marketing-consent checkbox. The site does not use a third-party email or newsletter service.

Earlier versions of the form stored an optional child's name with some interest records. New submissions do not. Those older records are still kept so they can be reviewed or deleted on request once a contact address is published.

The private admin area stores an administrator username and a sign-in session. That area is not part of the public registration form.

3. How that information is used

  • To record your request for Super Stoics availability updates
  • To let an administrator read and follow up on that request
  • To keep the private admin area signed in

The public site does not currently take book orders, collect a phone number, or collect a shipping or billing address.

4. Where the information is stored

From the application configuration, the site is built to use:

  • Azure Static Web Apps for the public website
  • Azure SQL for interest registrations and story content
  • Azure Blob Storage for illustrations and export files

The database region is set in the deployment environment and is not stated in the public source, so this page cannot confirm whether information stays in South Africa.

5. Other services

The site uses Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages people open. There is no cookie-consent banner in the current code.

The public registration form is handled by the site's own API. It is not sent to a separate form-processing service. The public pages do not offer checkout, and the interest form does not take payment. No courier or fulfilment service is connected. Payment-link code for iKhokha exists in the private admin tools only.

6. Cookies

The admin sign-in uses a session cookie so an administrator can stay signed in. The public interest form does not use a shopping cart. Google Analytics may set its own cookies. You can also control cookies in your browser.

7. Children

The public form collects an adult's name and email address for availability updates. It does not ask for a child's name. The stories are written for families to read together.

8. Requests and complaints

Access, correction and deletion requests cannot be completed from this page until a contact email is published. You may also contact the South African Information Regulator:

9. Contact

A project contact email and the responsible person or legal entity are not available in the website configuration. Website: SuperStoics.com.
